Students of English Literature study program, Faculty of Arts and Education, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, A. Vahry Lilam Putra won 1st place in the National English Speech Competition at the National English Competition (NED) XI at Medan State University.

Students who are active in Teknokrat English Club (TEC) organization won 1st place, outperforming Malang State University which won 2nd place and STBA Asian International Friendship which won 3rd place. 

This competition was attended by 40 participants from large public and private campuses in Indonesia. In the competition there were 2 sessions, the first was a video submission session, and the second was the final round session which was held offline at Medan State University, Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Vahry who was still studying in 3rd semester was able to become 1st place outperforming 40 other participants from large campuses in Indonesia.
