Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Education at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia.
The Faculty of Arts and Education, well-known as Fakultas Sastra dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FSIP), provides students with exciting, high-quality educational experience. We aim at offering students the needed skillsets and knowledge to deep dive into a wide range of subjects related to literature and education, involve in the development of research in the relevant fields, and contribute to the local and global society.
The Faculty of Arts and Education offers five outstanding programs, comprising Bachelor in English Literature (S1 Sastra Inggris), Bachelor in English Language Education (S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris), Bachelor in Mathematic Education (S1 Pendidikan Matematika), Bachelor in Sport Education (S1 Pendidikan Olahraga) and Master of English Language Studies (S2 Bahasa Inggris).
English literature program develops students competence in literature, linguistics, culture, English for specific purposes, and translation which prepare them to work for ministries and embassies as well as mingle with multinational companies and global industries. Meanwhile, education programs provide students with pedagogical and professional skills, in addition, competence in information and technology which enable students to pursue professional teaching career in both government and private schools, inside and outside of Indonesia. Students in all programs are also equipped with the entrepreneurial, creative, and agile mindset needed in today’s dynamic workplace. In addition, Master of English Language Studies prepares future experts in English literature, English linguistics, and English language education. The program offers three distinct concentrations, each integrated with cutting-edge technology to ensure a modern, dynamic learning experience. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, critical thinking, and the application of technology, our program provides the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in academia, education, and beyond.
Our faculty members are accomplished professionals of both academics and practitioners who bring an extensive academic experience across a wide spectrum of research interests in arts and education with Master and PhD degree from reputable universities. With strong link with public sector bodies and educational institutions, the faculty provides practical real-world learning that prepares students to become the leaders of tomorrow.
The career prospects for our students are limitless as more opportunities continue to emerge within both the public and private sectors. We are proud of our successful alumni with top-notch languages, communications, and softskills. They are now working for both public and private institutions, including hospitality, banking, service, shipping, e-commerce, and media industries as well as Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture,Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Law and Human Right, Attorney General Office, National Police Department, and State-Owned Enterprise of Republic of Indonesia.
