In 2025, it will become a superior English language and literature study program in Sumatra and with international standards with graduates who are competent in the field of Literature, competitive, entrepreneurial, and noble character based on science and technology.

a.   Able to write and present literary works of poetry, prose and English-language dramas necessary in

      the creative industries.

b.   Able to pour English creative writing in website content, travel blogs, social media and other digital

      content.

Translator

 

a.   Able to translate public texts, academic texts, and manuscripts of literary works both from Indonesian

      to English and from English to Indonesian both orally and in writing.

b.   Able to analyze traditional and contemporary American, British and Indonesian cultural phenomena

      used for oral and written translation purposes.

 

3.

 

Researchers

 

a.   Able to analyze conventional and modern literary works such as poetry, prose and drama required in

      the creative industries.

b.   Able to analyze linguistic phenomena including language structure, use of language, universality of

      language using relevant linguistic theories.

c.   Able to analyze traditional and contemporary cultural phenomena of America, England and

      Indonesia.

d.  Able to pour research ideas into academic writing and English-language academic presentations.
