The Faculty of Arts and Education Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia held a drama performance entitled “Othello” at the Lampung Arts Building on Saturday, February 4, 2023.   This drama performance is the output of the Drama Production course in English Literature Study Program and English Education Study Program in the Odd Semester of 2022/2023.
Drama Production is one of the leading courses at FSIP to hone students’ skills in acting theater performances, especially in English-language plays. In addition, Drama Production is a favorite course for students because they get the opportunity to explore ideas, appear in front of an audience, and act out a character.
This time, the Lecturer of Drama Production Course, Dina Amelia, M.Hum. and the Head of English Literature Study Program, Suprayogi, M.Hum.  agreed to choose the classic Othello manuscript by William Shakespare.  The goal is to provide students and spectators with an experience of the life of European society in their time, thus providing an experience of foreign nuanced performances.  
Miss Dina Amelia collaborated with the  maestro  of  Indonesian theater, namely Iswadi Pratama from Teater Satu Lampung.  Students have the opportunity to experience a long collaboration program (12 meetings) with experienced theater teachers guided directly starting from expression, Placement of players, up to the stage layout.
