Proud news from a student of Sport Education Study Program, Faculty of Arts and Education Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Berlyan Asya Pertiwi. Asya became 1 of 26 Indonesian Princesses who received a call from the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) to become a part of the Indonesian Women’s National Football Team. The woman who is active in Teknokrat Football and Futsal organization is an athlete from the Pesikomet-Metro Women’s Football Professional Club.

This call is the umpteenth call received by Asya, the previous call was received when to play a match at the Philippine SeaGames. And this time the call is prepared to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifiication. The head coach of the Indonesian women’s national team, Rudy Eka Priyambada revealed that it was not without reason that the head coach called these players. “There are several players that I called up for the first time during the selection and TC this time. It’s not without reason that I and the coaching team called these players. Previously they have been monitored, it’s just that we will see how their abilities are when they are at the National level,” said the head coach.

Garuda Pertiwi squad is in group F in the same group with Taiwan and Lebanon in the first round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifiication which will take place in Lebanon. The Faculty of Arts and Education of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia congratulates Asya. Hopefully Asya can show his best game and be able to become the main squad.

Hopefully, Asya being selected to be part of the Indonesian National Team will motivate the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia sports athletes to continue to be enthusiastic and be able to realize their dream of becoming part of the National Team to represent Indonesia in every international championship.
