VISION
By 2035, to become an excellent and internationally recognized English Literature Study Program, focusing on the development of literary production and Business English supported by technology and entrepreneurship.
MISSION
- To provide higher education programs in English Literature and English language studies that synergize with the needs of the workforce and are supported by technology;
- To conduct research for the advancement of knowledge in English Literature and English language studies that provides benefits to society;
- To carry out community service activities in the fields of English Literature and English language studies to improve community welfare;
- To establish and develop partnerships in the fields of English Literature and English language studies with various stakeholders at the local, national, and international levels.
GOALS

- To improve the quality and quantity of research, dissemination, and scholarly publications in the fields of English Literature and English language studies at national and international levels;

STRATEGIES
A. Education
- To develop an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum that is adaptive to developments in English Literature, linguistics, global culture, creative industries, and digital technology.
- To integrate English language skills, digital literacy, generative artificial intelligence, intercultural communication, and professional competencies relevant to the needs of the national and international workforce.
- To implement student-centered learning models through project-based learning, case-based learning, collaborative learning, and experiential learning that produce creative works and professional portfolios.
- To facilitate technology-enhanced learning through Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital collaboration platforms, generative artificial intelligence tools, and digital learning resources that support the development of 21st-century competencies.
- To develop authentic learning experiences through internships, practitioner-led teaching, industry projects, academic competitions, student exchanges, and international collaborations.
- To enhance the competencies of faculty members and educational staff in English Literature, linguistics, culture, educational technology, research, and relevant professional certifications.
- To implement professional, effective, accountable, quality-based, and continuously improving educational governance.
B. Research
- To develop leading research in English Literature, linguistics, culture, literacy, digital media, communication, and digital humanities that is relevant to the development of global society.
- To promote interdisciplinary research integrating language, literature, culture, and digital technology studies to generate academic and social innovations.
- To facilitate faculty and student research oriented toward reputable scholarly publications, intellectual property, innovative products, and the downstream utilization of research outcomes.
- To develop research groups and research centers that support the implementation and strengthening of the Study Program’s research roadmap.
C. Community Service
- To develop community service programs based on English Literature, English language studies, literacy, culture, communication, and digital technology that provide tangible benefits to society.
- To promote the implementation of research findings through community empowerment programs, training, mentoring, and community development initiatives.
- To develop English language literacy, digital literacy, cultural literacy, and media literacy programs for communities, schools, cultural groups, and creative industry practitioners.
- To facilitate faculty and student collaboration in innovative, sustainable, and impactful community service activities.
- To utilize digital technology to expand the reach, effectiveness, and sustainability of community service programs.
- To implement community service activities in accordance with the community service roadmap of the Study Program and Faculty.
D. Partnerships and Collaboration
- To develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions, creative industries, media organizations, language institutions, cultural communities, and professional organizations at the national and international levels.
- To strengthen internationalization programs through student and faculty exchanges, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), visiting professors, and joint academic activities.
- To develop partnerships in research, scholarly publications, conferences, and community service to expand the Study Program’s global academic network.
- To encourage the involvement of industry partners and professionals in curriculum development, teaching and learning, internships, and workplace-oriented projects.
- To facilitate the development of faculty and student competencies through training, professional certification, competitions, and joint professional development programs with national and international partners.
- To optimize partnerships to strengthen the reputation, competitiveness, and sustainability of the English Literature Study Program at the national and global levels.
